                                  Warrant To Rock at 2011 Rough Riders Band Party

WHAT:            Rough Riders 2011 Band Party featuring Warrant, with partial proceeds benefitting Rough Riders charities.


WHO:              Warrant, the Hollywood, Calif. glam metal band, powered onto the rock scene in the 1980s and has sold more than 8 million albums since, with hits like “Cherry Pie,” “Uncle Tom’s Cabin,” “Down Boys,” “Heaven,” and many others. The band has performed and recorded continuously since their debut album, Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich. Five albums have reached over 10 million in sales.


The Rough Riders charitable organization was formed in 1978 to promote the history of Theodore Roosevelt and the original Rough Riders in Tampa during the Spanish-American War. They support many Bay area charities and shelters including the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, The Fisher House at Haley, VA, Southeastern Guide Dogs – Paws for Patriots, Special Olympics, Hillsborough County Foster Children Program, The Spring, Ronald McDonald House, and Faces of Courage. They’re widely known as “The Teddy Bear Men” for delivering teddy bears to Florida’s hospitals, children’s’ homes, and abuse shelters. The Rough Riders collected and distributed over 16,000 teddy bears in 2010.
