The brainchild of Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton, the first Hard Rock Cafe was established in London on June 14, 1971 with a moderately priced, casual American fare, warm service and ubiquitous rock-and-roll music.
Also during the “40 Days That Rock” from May 18 - June 26, guests will be treated to an array of food and beverage discounts in the new Hard Rock Cafe, and special souvenir items will be available for sale in the Hard Rock Cafe Rock Shop.

TWO GREAT HARD ROCK CAFÉ SHOWS ON TAP
Everclear (www.everclearonline.com) charismatic frontman and driving force, Art Alexakis, takes a look back at the multi-platinum powerhouse group’s classic songs in a dynamic new show from the debut CD In A Different Light. Nearly 15 years since his Portland, Ore.-based band captured the hearts of Gen-Xers and rock fans everywhere, and hit #1 on Billboard’s Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart with “Santa Monica” and the Top 30 album Sparkle and Fade, the happily restless singer/songwriter gears up for Everclear’s next phase by taking a unique, organic look back at their biggest hits and fan favorites: “Learning How To Smile,” “I Will Buy You A New Life,” “Summerland,” “Everything To Everyone,” “Wonderful,” “Father Of Mine,” “Rock Star” and “The Maple Song.” Everclear will perform at Hard Rock Cafe Tampa Thursday, June 23rd at 10 p.m. $28 General Admission/Standing Room Only. Doors open at 9 p.m.
Seven Mary Three (www.7m3.com) is a quintessentially American band whose career has kept moving forward long after many of their contemporaries have disbanded. First and foremost a live rock band, they have toured with Aerosmith, Matchbox Twenty, and Three Doors Down and headlined for countless festivals and club shows. In the past five years, they performed at multiple NASCAR races, opened the National Hockey League season for the N.Y. Islanders, and at the Major League Baseball All-Star Game that aired nationally on ESPN. Seven Mary Three released their debut album, Churn in 1994, re-recorded a year later as American Standard, with the massive hit, “Cumbersome.” Other top 10 hits include: “Water’s Edge,”“Over Your Shoulder (on the Orange Ave. album) and “Wait” (from The Economy of Sound). 2008’s Day&nightdriving album took a new direction with surging dark rock anthems and quiet, introspective acoustic songs. Backbooth (2009) was recorded at a private show in Orlando. It documents Seven Mary Three in its simplest form – great songs, mostly acoustic instrumentation, and an intimate setting. The band is currently on tour and working on their seventh studio album. Seven Mary Three will perform at Hard Rock Cafe Tampa Thursday, May 26th at 10 p.m. $20 per person General Admission/Standing Room Only. Doors open at 9 p.m.
Tickets for both shows will be available at the Hard Rock Store and all Ticketmaster Outlets. Must at least 21 years of age or older to attend.
