VIP Show Kitchen Features State-of-the Art Facilities, Live Broadcast Studio, Luxury Decor and More
HOLLYWOOD, FL (January 16, 2008) - Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will debut its newest luxury dining showcase experience, Chef's Table, on January 24. Award-winning Chef and local restaurateur Michelle Bernstein of Michy's together with Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Executive Chef Peter Mavraides will inaugurate the new restaurant with a V.I.P dinner.
Chef's Table, located inside the hotel's new High Limit Gaming Area, adjacent to the Plum Lounge, is an exclusive 30-seat dining room that will be used to showcase the cooking process. It features state-of-the-art appliances, cooking tools and a full-in-house studio to accommodate live broadcasts. The centerpiece of this room is an imported French Molteni stove. This stainless steel and enamel handmade stove was shipped from France to the United States and cost $130,000. It is 5'x10', weighs 1,500-pounds and features two open burners, two pass-through ovens, a griddle, a fryer, a hot holding cabinet, a charcoal grill, a two-burner induction cook top, a pot-filler water faucet and a wok.
Recording studio specs include five Sony BRC-300 full-color remote cameras, six JVC BR-DV3000U professional digital tape recorders - one for each camera and one for recording the composite video program that is captured on a video editing system, a professional NLE (Non-Linear Editing) computer equipped with the latest video editing software, one Panasonic AG-MX70 broadcast quality switching unit, one Panasonic 42" Plasma Monitor and two Panasonic 50" Plasma monitors 1080i quality resolution, one Denon DVM-2845CI five-disc DVD player, one Crestron PRO2 system controller with touch screen panel and two Shure wireless microphones and receivers.

The exhibition kitchen, which will be available for rental and to high-roller V.I.P. Players Club card members, will allow guests to take-in the full sights, sounds and tastes while having their gourmet dining event recorded and edited on DVD as a souvenir of their memorable occasion.
Designed by Cleo Designs of Las Vegas, Chef's Table features a feast for the eyes, as well as the palate with a chic and elegant interior consisting of custom-made glass wall-niche spheres and entry chandelier, hand-crafted mosaics and bronze harlequin accent tiles, carved wood ceiling reliefs with cove lighting, a millwork bar cabinet, an antique silver oversized mirror, Christian Fischbacher sheer draperies framing the seating areas that have accent throw pillows and leather upholstered banquettes, Dakota Jackson chairs and barstools, hand-woven metallic threads wall coverings from Maya Romanoff and two temperature-controlled wine cabinets.
