We believe in developing our bench strength through a variety of programs, cross-training opportunities, and online and classroom training. One path into a leadership role is to dual-rate as a supervisor. Often the best path to a dual-rate supervisor is to work as a job trainer within your department. When supervisor positions open in your department, dual-rate supervisors are always given first preference to fill the full-time openings.
Another program that we offer is the Launch Program, a leadership development program. The Launch program includes an assessment and is designed to assist property leaders in identifying and developing team members who exhibit leadership potential. Each year, selected Team Members who accept the invitation will complete a comprehensive leadership training program. The program curriculum includes the following: Leadership Academy's foundational leadership skills, Interview Prep Course, Microsoft Essentials Course and Taking Feedback like a Pro Course,
Please note: Training courses will take place January – June each year
Upon successfully completing the program, Team Member names will be placed in a Leadership Potential Talent Pool. Thereafter, anytime they apply for a property leadership position for which they are qualified, they will email TAHR – Recruitment so that a member of the recruitment team can set up their interview. The rest is up to them! We are very proud to say that each year the majority of our leadership positions are filled internally.
