Charliepalooza at Hard Rock Cafe Tampa Generates $115,000 for The Angelus

TAMPA, Fla. (December 8, 2014) – Last Thursday’s Charliepalooza, hosted by Southern rock legend Charlie Daniels at Hard Rock Cafe in Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, raised $115,000 (including cash and in kind value) for The Angelus, a Hudson, Fla. home for the severely handicapped.
Charliepalooza activities included a charity slot tournament, charity blackjack tournament and an evening Jam Session which featured performances by JoDell, Embry Brothers, N-Kahootz, Billy Dean, Sweetwater Rain, Confederate Railroad, Lexi James, David Shelby and Daniels.
Daniels’ weekend also included his celebrity golf classic on Friday at Hunter’s Green Country Club in Tampa and a fundraising concert on Saturday at the Dallas Bull in Tampa.
