Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Donates $7,475 To Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida

TAMPA, Fla. (August 31, 2015) – Following a charity slot tournament and an acoustic concert last Friday night in Hard Rock Cafe, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa donated $7,475 to Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida.

The money raised included month-long sales of limited edition sunglasses in support of Make-A-Wish as well as proceeds from 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Girls Calendar sales. Additionally, 50 percent of the entry fee for the slot tournament was donated to the charity.

Former NFL quarterback Bernie Kosar and local media personalities Ronnie &TKras from 620 WDAE made appearances at Hard Rock Cafe to support the cause.

A red carpet ceremony featuring Wish Kids and local community members preceded a concert by Tampa Bay Acoustic Music Festival headliner, singer/guitarist Travis Williams.

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. On average, a wish is granted every 37 minutes in the United States and its territories.
