TAMPA, Fla. (June 13, 2017) – To celebrate the 46^th anniversary of the original Hard Rock Cafe in London, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa’s Hard Rock Cafe will offer a special menu and pricing on Wednesday, June 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The restaurant will turn back the clock for one day – Founders Day – by offering select items at 1970’s inspired pricing from the original Hard Rock Cafe menu.

Guests can choose from a Hard Rock Club Sandwich ($1.25), Grilled Cheese ($1.05), Legendary Burger ($1.25), Roadhouse Ribs ($1.50), Chef Salad ($1.15) as well as Thick Shakes, a Hot Fudge Sundae and Homemade Apple Pie (each for under $1.00).

The Seminole Hard Rock Tampa dining venue will be the only Hard Rock Cafe in the country to stage this special promotion.

To support the day, team members will be dressed in 1970’s attire and there will be live entertainment all day showcasing “groovy” tunes. Local bands scheduled to perform include the Black Honkeys from noon to 4 p.m. and Come Back Alice from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Only one meal will be allowed per person and “to go” orders will not be accepted.

Two music-loving Americans, Peter Morton and Isaac Tigrett, founded the first Hard Rock Cafe in an old Rolls Royce showroom in London. After Eric Clapton asked to hang his guitar in that location, Tigrett and Morton had a vision to combine music, memorabilia and food for a one-of-a-kind guest experience.
