Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa Suspends Entertainment Until Mid-April

Postponements Include Hard Rock Event Center Shows, Pool Parties

TAMPA, Fla. (March 13, 2020) – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has postponed Hard Rock Event Center shows and Pool Parties from now until mid-April.  Live entertainment will continue to be available in the bars and restaurants located throughout the resort.

Hard Rock Event Center shows that are affected include Gary Allan (originally scheduled for March 19 and rescheduled for August 27), Howie Mandel (originally scheduled for March 21 and rescheduled for November 20), Rodney Carrington (originally scheduled for April 2 with a new date to be determined) and Mike Tyson Undisputed Truth Round 2 (originally scheduled for April 3 with a new date to be determined).  No change is planned for the April 15 Hard Rock Event Center show by comedian, actor and screenwriter Colin Jost.

Pool parties postponed include Duke Dumont (originally scheduled for March 15 with a new date to be determined), DJ Snake (originally scheduled for March 22 and rescheduled for August 2), Smoke by the Water (originally scheduled for March 29 with a new date to be determined) and Hogan’s Beach Party (originally scheduled for April 6 with a new date to be determined).

Those who purchased tickets to a postponed event are encouraged to hold on to their tickets for a new date to be announced. As news on the COVID-19 develops, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa will continue its commitment to intensive cleaning of the resort, with special attention paid to high-touch services and use of multiple cleaning products, including a peroxide-based disinfectant that kills 99.9 percent of viruses and bacteria. For the convenience of guests, hand-sanitizing stations are available on the casino floor, at the entrances and throughout the resort.

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa will continue to review policies and procedures with the aim of strengthening its COVID-19 response to further align with updated public health advice and guidelines, including that of the U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO). This includes promoting handwashing and healthy hygiene practices among team members and guests.
