Comedian Mr. Red will take the stage in Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa on Thursday, May 18, at 8 p.m.

Fans can access venue presale tickets beginning Wednesday, March 22, at 10 a.m. through Seminole Hard Rock Tampa’s Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook pages.

Tickets starting at $50 will be available Friday, March 24, at 10 a.m. via seminolehardrocktampa.com and Ticketmaster.

Mr. Red, also known as Alexander Arias, has earned a loyal fan base, and amassed over one million combined followers on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, thanks to his spontaneous wit and clever skits about his Hispanic upbringing.

His natural ability to engage with his audience, in comedy shows and on social media, has drawn the attention of national brands such as DoorDash, AT&T, and NASCAR. They have collaborated with him and leveraged his popularity to promote their products.

In addition to his social media brand, Mr. Red is burning up the comedy scene. Selling out over 20 straight shows in Miami and Tampa, he is now looking to take his comedy nationwide.

Hearing about his parents’ childhood struggles after leaving their homeland at a young age has made the Cuban exile experience near and dear to Mr. Red’s heart. His mother, Elena, arrived in the United States at the age of nine, while his father, Robert, left Cuba in 1965 and went to live in an orphanage in Spain. He later moved to New York at age 15 and eventually settled in South Florida, where he met Elena and started a family.

Mr. Red was born in Miami in 1988 and graduated from Southwest Senior High School in 2007. He was a standout baseball player in high school and received a scholarship to play at Western Nebraska College. He eventually returned to Miami, graduating from Florida International University in 2012 with a degree in Health Management. He began his professional career in the medical industry but quickly shifted gears when he realized that entertaining people was his passion. In addition to making people laugh, Mr. Red writes, produces, and acts as he pursues his love of film.
